The award was presented to the Managing Director of Solverminds (Mr. Anthony Damian) in a ceremony organized by IEDRA in association with All India Achievers Foundation on the occasion of National Seminar on National Economic Development & Social Responsibility. The seminar highlighted the importance of encouraging and recognizing industries in the growth of India. The dignitaries present were Mr. Bhisham Narain Singh (Ex Governor of Tamil Nadu), Mr. Joginder Singh (Ex CBI Director), Mr. GVG Krishnamurthy (Ex Chief Election Commissioner), Major. Ved Prakash (AICC General Secretary), Mr. S. S. Bhakri (Eminent Economist) and Mr. Uberoi of IEDRA. The award recognizes the contribution of Solverminds in the economic and industrial development in India.
Solverminds has developed a Liner ERP which is fully web-enabled and integrated Liner Resource Planning system and is designed to empower container shipping lines gain unprecedented visibility to their global operation whilst optimizing asset utilization and minimizing their cost. The ERP application is used by more than 8000 licensed users in more than 80 countries across the world. The team at Solverminds has indigenously developed algorithm for optimizing the stowage planning of large container vessels, in addition the team has also developed optimization program using Linear and Non-Linear algorithm to calculate the complex repositioning cost of containers.
